About Us

The Amref Organizational Development System Strengthening (ODSS)

The Amref ODSS is a unique strategic capacity strengthening model that enhances the capacity of local organizations to design, implement, monitor, and evaluate the impact of their interventions. It is a dynamic and outcome-based participatory process that emphasizes organizational sustainability. This model is well aligned with global declarations such as the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness, the Busan Partnership Agreement, and the Accra Agenda for Action. These frameworks emphasize the imperative of effective partnerships and local ownership through robust capacity strengthening initiatives. By adhering closely to these global goals, the ODSS model ensures that organizations are empowered to take charge of their development journey while fostering sustainable and impactful outcomes within their communities.
